The NHL season has come to end as the Tampa Bay Lightning took care of business at home to win the series over the Montreal Canadiens 4-1. Andrei Vasilevskiy was once again a brick wall clinching his fifth consecutive series clinching shutout. That is simply unheard of. The "Big Cat" took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup Finals Most Valuable Player. The only goal scored in the game was by Ross Colton in the second period. Even with the loss, Carey Price and this Montreal Canadiens put together a historic run to reach where they ended up. The NHL season ended much later than usual, following the same pattern last year, where teams start preparing for training camp come September. As the great announcer Kenny Albert said, "The Lightning strikes again."
