This is it, the NBA Finals! In a shortened season with COVID-19 protocols enforced, the Larry O’Brien trophy will be earned by either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Phoenix Suns. The 7 game series will start tonight at 9:00 PM EST on ABC. Game 1 will be played at The Phoenix Suns Arena. This should be a phenomenal series between two teams I didn’t see playing tonight.
NBA Finals Schedule:
Game 1 (7/6, 9:00 PM) : Bucks at. Suns
Game 2 (7/8, 9:00 PM) : Bucks at Suns
Game 3 (7/11, 8:00 PM): Suns at. Bucks
Game 4 (7/14, 9:00 PM): Suns at. Bucks
Game 5 (7/17, 9:00 PM): Bucks at. Suns (If Necessary)
Game 6 (7/20, 9:00 PM): Suns at. Bucks (If Necessary)
Game 7 (7/22, 9:00 PM): Bucks at. Suns (If Necessary)
How’d We Get Here:
The Milwaukee Bucks entered the playoffs being a 3 seed after finishing 46-26. The Bucks opened up the postseason sweeping the defending Eastern Conference Champion, The Miami Heat, in 4 games. Milwaukee then faced what in my opinion was their toughest test of the postseason which was facing the Brooklyn Nets. It took overtime in game 7 in Brooklyn but the Bucks pulled off the upset to come 4 wins away from the NBA Finals. The Bucks would officially rule the Eastern Conference after taking care of the Atlanta Hawks in 6 games. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 28.1 PPG and 11 RPG. Jrue Holiday leads the team in assists with 6.1.
The Phoenix Suns entered the playoffs being a 2 seed after finishing 51-21. The Suns opened up the postseason beating the defending NBA champions, The Los Angeles Lakers, in 6 games. Phoenix then faced the Denver Nuggets who have MVP Nikola Jokic. The Suns took care of the Nuggets winning the series in 4 games. In the Western Conference Semifinals the Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers in 6 games advancing to the NBA Finals. Devin Booker leads the Suns in scoring with 25.6 PPG. Deandre Ayton leads on the boards with 10.5 and Chris Paul leads in dishes with 8.9.

Prediction:
The Phoenix Suns defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in 5 games.
MVP: Chris Paul
