Milwaukee Bucks vs. Brooklyn Nets

The Milwaukee Bucks have defeated by the Brooklyn Nets in 7 games to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. This was a series where Brooklyn might have had better odds if James Harden and Kyrie Irving were not injury plagued. in addition, maybe Joe Harris could have hit a shot? Man, that guy built a mansion with all the bricks he put up. Also KD, how's your back after carrying the team for 5 games? In all seriousness all props to Durant, he played his heart out and gave his team a chance to win.

Props to Milwaukee as well, winning a game 7 on the road is nothing short of special. Game 1 and 2 were all Brooklyn, as they beat up Milwaukee at home by a combined score of 240 - 193. It looked to me as if this was going to be smooth sailing for Brooklyn, even with star point guard James Harden out. In game 3, the Bucks won a nail-biter, where Bruce Brown of all Nets took the final two shots which both didn't go. Game 4 was also a Milwaukee win to even the series, but was even worse when Kyrie Irving went down with an injury which would eventually lead him to not play the rest of the series. In Game 5, James Harden came back for Brooklyn not being at 100% healthy-whatsoever. Kevin Durant had the game of his life, scoring 49 points leading Brooklyn to a series lead after overcoming a huge second half deficit. Milwaukee would win game 6 at home, where Khris Middleton had 38 points. Game 7 was a classic for basketball fans around the globe! Being a neck to neck battle to the end, Milwaukee would emerge victorious. Kevin Durant hit a shot at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime, but KD thought it was a three. His foot was barely on the line, but moved an inch back, Brooklyn would still be playing for an NBA title. The Bucks eventually win the game in overtime. It was revealed that Nets point guard, James Harden, played through a grade 2 hamstring from game 5 and beyond. Milwaukee will now play the Atlanta Hawks with home court advantage looking to advance to the NBA Finals.

Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers

Another series upset took place in the Eastern Conference as the Atlanta Hawks took down the number one seeded Philadelphia 76ers in q 7 game series. Ben Simmons was unwatchable as fans in South Philly have been burning his jersey and rooting for him to be traded. This guy was nothing short of abysmal and cost his team a chance at a title. In Game 1, Atlanta shocked Philly on their home floor winning by 4. Trae Young was phenomenal scoring 35 points. Philly took care of business in Game 2 beating Atlanta by 16 behind 40 points from Joel Embiid. The series then shifted to Atlanta in Game 3, where the Sixers would go on to win by 16. Game 4 was pivotal for Atlanta, being cautious not go down 3 games to 1. The Hawks earned the much needed win. It was a nail-biter, in which the Hawks only won by 3 behind 20 point games from Trae Young and Bogdanovic.

Game 5 was back in Philly, where Atlanta would prove to be road warriors winning to take the series lead by a score of 109-106. Trae Young had 39 and gave his team a chance to go back home in Atlanta and take the series. The Sixers weren't done yet though, as they beat Atlanta on their home floor which forced a game 7 back in Philadelphia. Tobias Harris, Seth Curry and Joel Embiid all had 20+ points. Could Atlanta win on the road again in an elimination game? Yes. Atlanta beat Philadelphia for the third time in four games on the 76ers home floor to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Ben Simmons made a play late in the fourth quarter in game 7 of a very close game. My little cousin Ryan who is 15 could have made blindfolded where he had a wide open DUNK and decided to pass it to Matisse Thybulle, of all people. Matisse eventually got fouled and only made one free throw. Let me repeat that Ben Simmons who is nearly 7 feet tall passed it to Matisse Thybulle who is on the floor for the defensive purposes. Just pass it to me at this point or maybe ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner! Trae Young was useless until the end of the fourth quarter, where he hit a couple huge shots. Kevin Huerter scored 27 for Atlanta. It was tweeted out by 76ers center, Joel Embiid, that he played through a torn meniscus this series. Atlanta will be have to be road warriors again versus the Bucks.

What's next?
