Game 1: 9/17/21, 7:10 PM (NY wins 8-0)
Yankees bounce back with a nice easy win against the Tribe. Corey Kluber was extremely sharp against his former team and the Bronx Bombers smashed 5 homers in the win. It was Kluber’s best outing since returning from the IL so hopefully he continues this. Joey Gallo got the home run parade started with a solo shot off Zach Plesac. In the 4th, Judge would also smash an opposite field solo homer to make it 2-0. It would stay 2-0 until the 7th when the bombers tacked on 4 more, Urshela would rope an RBI single and then Brett Gardner would hit the big blast of the game with a 3-run jack to make it 6-0. The homer parade wasn’t over as in the 8th, Stanton and Gallo went back to back making it 8-0. Mike King and Leutge would seal the deal combining for 3 scoreless and hitless innings. Kluber got the win while Plesac took the loss. Great way to bounce back after last night’s horrific loss. Keep it up!

Game 2: 9/18/21, 1:10 PM (Cleveland wins 11-3)
Yanks lose another game that at this point is considered a must win. They now sit on the outside looking in as far as playoffs are concerned. Simply can’t be losing games to bad teams, it can’t continue to happen. Luis Gil continued his slight regression but that’s expected from a rookie still getting his feet wet in the majors. The thing is, he doesn’t get hit hard but he walks a lot of people and walking people is not good. Once he finds the strike zone, boy he’s gonna be great. The defense surely didn’t help him though, he only gave up 2 earned runs over 4.1 innings but 3 total runs. Abreu and Heaney gave up 8 runs in 3.2 innings which was obviously the killer and surely didn’t help. Yanks only scored 3 runs, Stanton smacked a solo homer in the 7th and Voit hit a 2-run bomb in the 8th but it was too late at that point. Gil got the loss and Civale took the win. What a frustrating game man!
Game 3: 9/19/21, 1:10 PM (Indians win 11-1)
What a horrible, horrible day for the Yanks. They get blown out with their Ace on the mound. There isn’t anything to say here as Gerrit Cole just didn’t have it. His CY Young took a major blow and so did the playoff chances as they fall 1.5 games back. This is horrible. They scored 1 run on a pitcher who came in having a 6.03 ERA, made him look the CY young candidate. Urshela was responsible for the run with a solo homer. This sucks!

My thoughts:
Nothing to say besides every game from now on is a must win. What a horrible weekend in the Bronx. Fans booed them off the field Sunday during the 11-1 blowout, they deserve every boo they received. I wish the boos were louder honestly they deserve it.
What’s next?
The Cleveland Indians head back home to Ohio to take on the Royals in a 4 game set. The Yankees welcome in the 3rd worst team in baseball the Texas Rangers to the Bronx. Cut the crap. Sweep the damn Rangers or else your playoff chase is over.
